Il golfo di Baratti non ha certo bisogno di presentazioni. E’ senza dubbio una delle mete più conosciute e frequentate della costa Toscana. Trascorrendo le mie vacanze estive nella località di San Vincenzo, Baratti rappresentava uno dei pochi posti vicini ed interessanti dove era possibile scattare all’alba rivolti verso il sole.
Ero già stato in questa zona, ma mai a scattare foto. Il golfo è molto bello, all’alba molto tranquillo, una buona luce proveniente dall’entroterra illumina il golfo creando lunghe ombre. La temperatura ottima, il mare è praticamente una tavola. La spiaggia è lunga e ricca di elementi in primo piano. Rocce, alghe, giochi di colore sulla sabbia. Questo regala molte prospettive, una moltitudine di inquadrature che trasmettono tridimensionalità e profondità alla scena.
Mi concentro dapprima su una classica panoramica dalla strada, con una bella visuale su tutto il golfo. Il sole ancora deve fare capolino dalle colline. Un cielo arancio\violaceo avvolge la scena. Non una nuvola, ma fa lo stesso. La quiete è palpabile. Poi scendo in spiaggia. Mi tolgo addirittura le scarpe per scattare ad uno scoglio che emerge dalla battigia, dove l’acqua fa avanti e indietro creando una bella texture. Camminando lungo la riva, sassi, ciottoli, tronchi, c’è un po’ di tutto.
Il sole si sta alzando, le ombre si accorciano poco a poco. Ma sono soddisfatto. Stamani è stata una buona uscita. Porto via con me diversi scatti interessanti. Spero vi piacciano.
The Gulf of Baratti certainly needs no introduction. It is undoubtedly one of the best known and most popular destinations on the Tuscan coast. Spending my summer holidays in the town of San Vincenzo, Baratti was one of the few interesting and close places where it was possible to shoot at dawn facing the sun.
I’ve been to this area before, but never taking pictures. The gulf is very beautiful, very quiet at dawn, a good light coming from the hinterland illuminates the gulf creating long shadows. The optimal temperature, the sea is practically a table. The beach is long and full of foreground elements. Rocks, algae, play of colors on the sand. This gives many perspectives, a multitude of shots that convey three-dimensionality and depth to the scene.
I first focus on a classic panoramic view from the road, with a beautiful view over the entire gulf. The sun has yet to peep out from the hills. An orange \ purplish sky envelops the scene. Not a cloud, but it does the same. The stillness is palpable. Then I go down to the beach. I even take off my shoes to take a shot at a rock that emerges from the shoreline, where the water is back and forth creating a nice texture. Walking along the shore, stones, pebbles, logs, there is a bit of everything.
The sun is rising, the shadows are shortening little by little. But I am satisfied. This morning was a good exit. I take away with me several interesting shots. I hope you like them.
